Welcome to shanb.photography. My name is Shanti Balkissoon-Castillo, by day a humble podiatrist and by night an amateur photographer. I have enjoyed photography since I was in college when I took my 1st course. That was in the days of film and dark rooms! Yes, I'm that old:) In the early 2000's I bought my first digital camera and now I am hooked. I am pretty much self taught. I have learned photoshop basics and enjoy the editing aspect as well. Last year I decorated my office with some of my photography and have had such an overwhelmingly positive response from my patients that I decided to start my own website. With the help of my talented husband, this website was launched! I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy creating these images.
